The National Association of Distance Education and Open Learning in South Africa (NADEOSA) is hosting a two-day conference titled Innovation in Open and Distance Education from 18-19 August 2008 in Pretoria.
In a period of growing convergence between the use of distance and traditional education methodologies in the pursuit of open education ideals, this conference will be of interest to all educators and education managers who aspire to provide quality educational experiences in ways that are both flexible and cost effective.

the actual Democratic National Committee has put up a slightly more useful polling locator they call Raise Your Vote. this website still needs your address and zip code, but then displays your own assigned polling station and also the best route to get there at your homw.
